In 2015, the year of the 70th anniversary of DAIKEN CORPORATION, we established the long-term vision GP25, describing our ideal situation in 10 years.
As how we should be and the company vision, we have upheld the way to grow from the past image as a housing materials manufacturer to become and shine as an all-embracing company for building materials that will actively expand into not only the domestic housing market but also the non-housing market, as well as the global markets.
In formulating the medium-term management plan GP25 3rd Stage from fiscal year 2023, which is the final stage toward realization of the long-term vision GP25, we have updated how we should be in 2025 based on the change in business environment and reconfirmation of materiality in and after 2025.
We formulated the medium-term management plan, which consists of the specific action plans in the three steps of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, toward the realization of the long-term vision GP25 and have been proceeding with specific initiatives. Based on the achievements and issues of the GP25 1st Stage from fiscal year 2017, we proceeded with the review of the business portfolio and the business expansion through active investments in the GP25 2nd Stage that started from fiscal year 2020. In the GP25 3rd Stage (fiscal 2023–2026), which is the final step, we will establish the image of an all-embracing company for building materials by putting sustainability in the center of management more than ever and by executing the growth strategies based on the pursuit of the resolution of social issues.
